Tiana Ray, Founder and Executive Director
Tiana Ray is a visionary leader, strategic builder, and fierce advocate for second chances. As the Founder and Executive Director of Heartfelt Heroes, she has been the driving force behind every operational, financial, and programmatic milestone the organization has achieved since its inception.

Tiana built Heartfelt Heroes from the ground up, transforming a powerful idea into a fully realized nonprofit organization. With unwavering determination, she developed the infrastructure, launched each program, secured resources, and brought the organization into legal existence in Washington, D.C. Her vision, strategic execution, and personal dedication turned a single spark into a sustainable force for change focused on empowering youth, uplifting underserved communities, and fostering long-term resilience.
Tiana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus in Criminal Justice from Bowie State University and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from The Catholic University of America. She is currently earning a Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University.
For over ten years, Tiana has been conducting research and on-the-ground work to combat recidivism and support returning citizens. Her life’s work centers on helping individuals rebuild their lives through mentorship, financial literacy, career development, and holistic support.
With an unshakable belief in justice, opportunity, and healing, Tiana leads with purpose, integrity, and impact. She remains deeply committed to creating sustainable systems of support for youth and system-impacted individuals, turning pain into purpose and purpose into programs that change lives.
