Heartfelt Heroes operates a structured continuum model designed to interrupt the cycle of incarceration at multiple stages. We serve pre-teens, teens, young adults, returning citizens, and working families across Washington, DC and Prince George’s County.
Our approach includes:

Hold On Pain Ends
Designed for youth ages 8–12 showing early behavioral risk factors. This structured program provides trauma-informed workshops, coping skill development, and family resource navigation to prevent early system involvement and strengthen emotional stability.

Launch Your Dreams
An 8–12 week structured mentorship cohort for youth ages 13–17 focused on accountability, leadership development, conflict resolution, and life skills. Participants are matched with trained mentors and supported through measurable goal tracking.

Project Next
Career readiness programming for youth and young adults ages 16–24. Services include resume development, interview preparation, certifications, financial literacy, and employer connections to increase long-term economic stability.

Safety Sync
Supports returning citizens and justice-involved individuals through employment readiness, workforce referrals, mentorship, and community engagement initiatives designed to reduce recidivism and promote neighborhood safety.
