Heartfelt Heroes is a community-driven nonprofit working to prevent youth recidivism and expand opportunity for young people across Washington, DC and Prince George’s County.
Through structured mentorship, early intervention programs, and workforce readiness pathways, we help youth build stability, accountability, and long-term opportunity.

Heartfelt Heroes measures impact through mentorship engagement, youth participation in career development opportunities, and community support that helps young people build stable futures.
We also track youth served, volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and program participation to evaluate long-term impact.

Hold On Pain Ends
Designed for youth ages 10–17 who benefit from mentorship, life-skills development, and positive guidance. This program provides trauma-informed support, coping strategies, and mentorship that help young people build resilience and avoid early justice system involvement.

Dreams in Motion
An 8–12 week mentorship program connecting youth ages 11–17 with mentors across career fields. The program is supported by the Heartfelt Heroes mentorship app (in development) designed to expand mentor access, provide career exposure, and strengthen mentorship engagement.

Project Next
Career readiness programming for youth ages 16–21 preparing for employment and career pathways. Services include resume development, interview preparation, financial literacy, certifications, and connections with local employers.

Safety Sync
Safety Sync focuses on restorative justice and community relationship building by bringing together justice-involved youth, community members, and law enforcement to rebuild trust, strengthen accountability, and support successful reintegration into the community.
